This policy explains what personal information NoirFold collects, why, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it. It is published under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
What we collect
- Order information — name, delivery address, phone number, email address.
- Payment information — handled by our payment provider. We do not store card details.
- Usage information — pages viewed and actions taken on this site, where you have consented to analytics and advertising cookies.
Sensitive personal data
We do not seek passwords, financial account details, health information, biometric data or any other category defined as sensitive personal data under Rule 3 of the 2011 Rules. Please do not send such information to us.
Purpose
Your information is used only to accept and deliver your order, to provide support, to meet legal and tax obligations, and — with your consent — to measure and improve our advertising. It is not used for any other purpose.
Who we share it with
- Shopify — storefront and order processing.
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement, only after you consent to advertising cookies.
- Our supplier and courier partners — your name, delivery address and phone number, so the order can be packed and delivered.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for eight years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Analytics and advertising identifiers are retained for 26 months. Anything no longer needed for a stated purpose is deleted.
Your rights
- Review and correct — ask us for a copy of the information we hold and have inaccuracies corrected.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent to analytics or advertising at any time, in writing, to the address below.
- Deletion — request deletion of information we are not legally required to keep.
Where you withdraw consent or decline to provide information necessary for an order, we may be unable to provide the goods or services concerned, and may decline or discontinue that service.
Security
We maintain reasonable security practices appropriate to the information held, covering managerial, technical, operational and physical safeguards. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
Children
This store is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and our advertising is not targeted below that age.
